Autumn 1 - 2025
Welcome Back!
We hope you had a restful summer. In September, Innovate2Educate staff came together for our annual Light up Learning event. Over 300 colleagues joined a day of training and inspiration, covering safeguarding, our Trust vision and values, SEND developments, sustainability, and digital futures. It was a fantastic opportunity for staff to reconnect, share experiences, and prepare for the year ahead. It was great to see everyone there!

All Saints CE First School – Early Years Transformation Complete!
We are thrilled to share that Phase 1 of our Early Years transformation is now complete. It has been wonderful to see our youngest children already exploring and enjoying the magic of their brand-new outdoor learning space.
This project has been designed with one very special group in mind: the children of All Saints. Every feature has been carefully planned to spark curiosity, nurture development, and provide a joyful space for learning and growth.
We want to express our deepest thanks to the dedicated All Saints staff, whose hard work and commitment made this possible. In particular, a huge thank you to Martha Broome, who gave up part of her summer to work alongside members of the central team to ensure everything was ready for the start of term. Her generosity of time and care truly brought this vision to life.
Introducing the Central Team
Our Central Team supports all nine schools across the Trust, providing expertise in areas such as curriculum development, SEND, safeguarding, sustainability, and much more. The team is led by Kerry Rochester (CEO), Andy Storer (CFO), and Sam Cosgrove (Director of Education), alongside School Improvement Partners Emily Calvert (Curriculum) and Carl Gliddon (SEND). They are supported by our Central Services team: Penny Plant (Business), Janette Taylor (Finance), Julie Malbon (Finance), Jane Griffiths (PA), and Jade Hadfield (Strategic IT Lead).
Working Together Across Our Schools
Our Central Team not only supports each school in their specialist areas but also brings leaders together to share expertise and encourage collaboration. This year promises to be busy and exciting, with developments in curriculum, IT, and new partnerships.
A Sad Farewell!
We are very sad to announce that Liz Braithwaite, our COO and Safeguarding specialist, retired last week. Liz has been such an amazing part of our team, and all of our schools have benefited from her calm and scrupulously efficient support. We wish you all the very best for a fulfilling retirement, Liz. We will miss you!

The Role of The Trust
As mentioned in my September letter, we will also be sharing with you the five key pillars of Trust Quality set out by the Department for Education. These pillars highlight the vital role a trust plays in supporting its schools. Over the coming newsletters, we will explore each pillar in turn and show how they are put into practice across our schools. We hope this will give you a clearer picture of how the Trust works and the ways we support your children’s education.
Pillar 1: High-Quality and Inclusive Education
The first pillar is all about ensuring every child receives an excellent education, where their individual needs are recognised and supported.
As a Trust, we are responsible for making sure teaching is of the highest quality across all our schools, that learning is inclusive for every pupil, and that no child is left behind. This means working closely with school leaders and staff to set high expectations, provide the right support, and create opportunities for all children to thrive.
Watch out for Pillar 2 in the next newsletter!
Curriculum Development
iPad Project Rollout
Our iPad project is now live in some of our schools, with children at Picknalls, Bramshall Meadows and Ryecroft excitedly unboxing their very own devices. Each iPad is equipped with top-level safety features, and we’re thrilled to launch Magma Maths, an AI-powered exercise book that lets teachers set work children can complete and proudly share at home.
We Love, We Listen, We Learn, We Grow
We would like to thank our parents and families for the respectful partnerships we share. By working together, we truly live out our values: we love, we listen, we learn, and we grow. Your support and encouragement this term have been invaluable, and together we can ensure the very best for our children.
Looking Ahead
We look forward to sharing more news from our schools next half term as they welcome families for parents’ evenings, open events, and Harvest Festivals, and yes, it’s nearly time to start getting excited for Christmas!
Best wishes
Kerry Rochester
