Welcome to the Innovate2Educate Newsletter Summer 2: 2025

We Love, We Listen, We Learn, We Grow

As we reach the end of another busy and successful term, we want to take a moment to reflect on the many wonderful things happening across our trust. We have enjoyed hearing about the many summer activities taking place across our schools, such as:

Oldfields Hall reached the National Schools Football Finals and qualified for the Cricket County Cup semi-finals. Windsor Park marked National School Sports Week with a full programme, including a ‘Maths Sports Day’ linking numeracy with physical activity.

Rounders tournaments are underway in our Middle Schools, and Thomas Alleyne’s students took part in a vibrant Colour Run. At Ryecroft, Year 8 pupils used Python coding in Robotics Club to create a ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ game ahead of their transition to TAHS. Thank you to Mrs Hadfield and the TAHS pupils.

Our First Schools have embraced outdoor learning—preparing for Sports Days, exploring forest school, releasing butterflies, picking strawberries, and enjoying summer discos.

We were delighted to attend Oldfields-Fest on 7th June, where pupils performed on stage, took part in a dog show, and entertained with singing and dancing. Well done to the pupils of Richard Clarke, who confidently performed a dance to a large audience.

These moments truly reflect the energy, enthusiasm, and community spirit that define our schools. We now look forward to continuing the celebrations at the Bramshall Meadows Big Bash on 11th July, and hope to see many of you there.

Huge congratulations to Miss Norton!

On Thank a Teacher Day (18th June), pupils across the trust shared messages of gratitude. Congratulations to Miss Norton at Bramshall Meadows, who received a certificate following her nomination for a Pearson National Teaching Award for Outstanding New Teacher of the Year.

Curriculum Development

As more schools join our iPad scheme, we continue to be inspired by the incredible learning taking place. During our visits, it is clear how confidently pupils are developing their independence, using technology to explore, create, and take ownership of their learning.

One highlight has been Magma Maths, a new interactive platform that pupils are thoroughly enjoying. It is fantastic to see how they are applying their skills in fun, engaging ways. If your child/ren are involved in this project, then ask them to show you what they have been learning. We think you will be just as impressed as we are!

Our Community Listen

This term, we have continued our Community Listen work, focusing on the voices that matter most: the children.

Our School Improvement Team visited each school and met with pupil panels to hear their honest views about what they enjoy, what could be better, and how we can improve their experience. These visits were a powerful reminder of how thoughtful, articulate, and insightful our pupils are.

Thank you to all the children who took part. We look forward to sharing more of their feedback with them in the Autumn Term.

Promoting Courtesy and Collaboration

It has come to our attention that, on rare occasions, interactions within our school communities have not fully reflected the shared values we uphold. While this relates to a very small number of instances, we would like to thank the overwhelming majority of parents and carers who continue to engage with kindness, respect, and support, this is genuinely appreciated.

Our schools are safe and respectful environments, and all staff deserve to be treated with courtesy. We kindly ask that any concerns be raised calmly and constructively, whether in person or online—so we can continue to work in partnership to support all children.

Looking Ahead with Excitement

As we approach the final two weeks of this half term, we hope many of you will be able to join your children for the exciting events happening across our schools, from sports days and rewards evenings to leavers’ celebrations. There is so much to look forward to!

As we prepare for the final stretch of the academic year, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the core values that guide our trust school communities:

We Love – to play, to challenge ourselves, and to celebrate one another’s successes.

We Listen - to others with kindness, support those around us, and speak up when something is not right. Every child knows they can talk to a trusted adult who will listen and respond with care.

We Learn – every day, pupils build new skills, knowledge, and understanding.

We Grow – not just in height, but in confidence, resilience, and wellbeing, especially under the summer sunshine!

If you do not already, please follow our Facebook page: i2e Partnership Facebook

Thank you for your continued support of our schools throughout the year. We wish all of our families a restful, enjoyable summer break and look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed in September.

Best wishes
